Option 1 - JMap Pro Launcher
(Recommended)

This option requires a one time installation of the JMap Pro launcher for your platform. The .jmap files are then used to start JMap Pro. No installation of Java is required with this option.

Option 2 - Java WebStart
This option will be removed in the next major version 'Lima'

This option requires the presence of Java on your computer. The .jnlp files are used to start JMap Pro.
